PROPOSED SERVICES

  • Document scanning, image retouching and indexing:

    Infoscribe digitizes all documents regardless of their media (paper, microfilm, microfiche, bound or not, etc.) and their formats (A5 or A0).

  • Conversion to text mode (OCR):

    This technique allows, when the documents are suitable for it, automatic recognition of characters and generates significant savings in costs and time. The objective is to access information and allow full-text searches.

  • Indexing and generation of descriptive metadata:

    Indexing according to the METS scheme also allowing the connection between physical pages and digitized pages.

  • Structuring texts in SGML, XML, HTML or ALTO format:

    o structured entries in XML format from paper media

  • Processing tables of contents:

    Reliability of table text recognition with very high quality rates. XML (TEI) structuring of tables in order to obtain interactive summaries or entry of table entries in the margins of PDF files (bookmarks).

  • Entering text or data:

    Manual entry "by the kilometer", enriched or with styling from printed, typed or handwritten texts.
